Our Story
"When I started TdG (Talent di Giovanni) Recruitment in 2023, my goal was to stand out in a crowded field. With over 20,000 staffing firms in the U.S., it’s a challenge to be truly different. The reality is, we may not be all that different from others in the industry. However, my career has provided me with a unique perspective, having worked in small and large companies, internal talent acquisition, and agency staffing. Each week, I meet with clients, and every day, I connect with candidates. In the past, I would occasionally interview with other employers to learn about their processes, fees, and tools. With nearly a decade of experience, I’ve likely had between 5,000 and 10,000 conversations—giving me valuable insights along the way.

So, how do we differentiate ourselves?

From a technical standpoint, we provide enterprise-level resources at boutique shop prices, utilizing more than six tools that most of our competitors overlook. Many firms rely on just one or two tools, often due to cost or niche limitations. In my previous roles, I often faced client demands for flexibility in pricing and terms, but strict rules and red tape hindered my ability to meet those needs. I recognized that we could achieve better results with more diverse tools at our disposal, yet many staffing firms resist adaptation. A close-minded approach can be detrimental if you value cultivating new and repeat clients.

The more genuine answer lies in finding "the right fit." It’s not solely about how different we can be; it’s about connecting with those who share our values. Similar to friendships or relationships, not every client and candidate is the right match.
